He is Member in numerous National and international developmental projects like Project Management Committee AFRI Projects Consortium, Abuja – Where he served as (1) Desk Officer: Needs assessment and condition survey for laboratory and vaccine production equipment of National Veterinary Research Institute, Vom; Preparation of contract documents for Petroleum Special Trust Fund (PTF) intervention programme (provision of road, electrical works, water provision – sinking of boreholes, water reticulation & surface tank construction), rehabilitation of laboratory equipment and procurement of new ones to enhance vaccine production. (2) Desk Officer: Supervision of NAFDAC as Quality Control Consultants for the PTF assisted DRF and procurement of drugs and medical consumables. Liaison with NAFDAC and beneficiaries in ensuring all drugs procured are accompanied by NAFDAC certificates of product quality conformance, all products are stored appropriately, Expired products are removed and disposed appropriately, Drug revolving funds reports are evaluated and summaries presented to Management committee.
Dr. Dahiru is the 1st National Vice President of NIFST from 2014 – 2016 and its Chairman of Corporate affairs committee responsible for membership, NIFST-Industry linkages, student affairs, designing and establishing of MOU with Stakeholders. Again, he is the 2nd National Vice President, NIFST and act Mainly as Chairman of scientific and training committee responsible for seeking and organizing partnerships and clientele in trainings
His skills ranges from the Ability to manage both private and public budgets, grants, endowments, and line expenditures efficiently, use of MS Office software [and other workplace and industry software], ability to understand or develop and implement organisational missions, Visions, objectives, practices and procedures, Analytical and conceptual thinking skills to negotiation skills- to mention a few.
As university don, he hold many position like Head department, Quality Control and Product Development Manager [Savannah Beverages ltd, Kano], Program Manager, Arewa Research and Development Project (ARDP) – Agri-Business and Industry Development, Member, BUK Halal Certification Services Development Committee, Nationally Coordinated Research Program on Product Research; (ARCN), President and Chairman of Council, Institute of Public Analyst of Nigeria.
