He hold Master’s Degree in Management, a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, all from Bayero University, Kano and an Advance Diploma in Law. He is Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Certified Teacher.
He is a partner at APT Professional Consulting, Audit Trainee at Kadiri Muhammed & Co. and at Salihu Metala & Co. He lectures at NNDC-ICAN Study Centre since 2011 to date. He worked at First Bank of Nigeria Plc. (N.Y.S.C) [2002 – 2003] He was Chief Principal Education Officer at KSSSSMB/GSCS Airport Road 2004 to 2017. He lectures on Research Methodology [part time] at School of Management – Kano State Polytechnic [2012 to 2013]. He is the Coordinator – Private couching on Accounting Technician Scheme for West Africa (Atswa); 2012-date. He is a Facilitator/Presenter at Industrial Training Funds (ITF) in 2013 to 2014. He was Freelance Consultant to Beneficiaries of You win Federal Government Empowerment Scheme in 2013 to 2014. He also Lectures Quantitative Techniques and Entrepreneurship (part-time) at School of Management, Department of Banking & Finance, Kano State Polytechnic; 2014 to 2015. He serves as Assistant General Secretary, Kano-Jigawa, ICAN District Society, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (2017-2018). He also serves as Financial Secretary of, Association of Business Development Professionals in Nigeria (ABDPIN) Kano Chapter (2017-2019).
